FRENCH LAVENDER TRIPLE SCENTED SOY WAX MELTS

Genuinely Triple Scented Soy Wax Melts? Absolutely!

Our soy wax melts are handmade and poured in Melbourne, Australia. All our soy wax melts are scented using the highest quality fragrance oils, essential oils and absolutes that are Phthalate free and adhere to IFRA’s high standards.

Our soy wax melts contain zero additives, zero chemicals, zero dyes, just soy wax.

Because soy wax melts don’t use a flame, we found during testing that we are able to put more fragrance into our wax melts then we can in a candle. Because of this our soy melts are some of the strongest on the market and last longer than wax melts with less fragrance thanks to years of testing and perfecting we can add a lot more fragrance into our products, hence this product being called triple scented due to the amount of fragrance we put into this product compared to what is normally recommended for this kind of product.

Because of the high amount of fragrance that we put into our wax melts we recommend starting with ½ of 1 bar piece for a small or medium sized room and 1 bar piece for a large sized room, you can always add extra if you want a stronger scent. Simply place your soy wax melt into your melt warmers.

FRENCH LAVENDER FRAGRANCE

FRAGRANCE STRENGTH:

We have rated this fragrance as Medium strength.#

We recommend using this product in a small to medium sized room. If you are wanting to use this in a larger size room then we suggest you purchase a sample first to ensure this fragrance is right for your room size.

FRAGRANCE DESCRIPTION:

Just like the picturesque French countryside rich in lavender, this scent exhibits herbaceous rosemary and lavender with a touch of vanilla bean and timeless patchouli

FRAGRANCE INFORMATION:

# Results are based on a minimum of 30 minutes of use and a maximum of 4 hours when using one of our electric wax warmers. We used 1 of our soy wax melts bars or 1 sample size bar during this test. Fragrance may be stronger than advertised if using one of our electric melt warmers or weaker if using a warmer with a light bulb or a tealight candle.

* This fragrance is a custom formulation of Sassy Wax Australia and is not part of and has no association with any other products with the same or similar name. Please note in some of our fragrances we may add some extra essential oils, absolutes or infuse our oils with actual ingredients (e.g. Actual Sandalwood pieces may be infused) to enhance the strength of our products.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

HOW TO USE OUR WAX MELTS

  • We highly recommend using soy wax melts with an electric warmer that is designed for use with soy wax melts. Soy wax requires a hotter temperature than essential oils and paraffin wax to melt the wax correctly.
  • We recommend using one of our silicone flip cups with your warmer for a mess free experience. It’s also very handy if you want to swap fragrances regularly, you simply remove the flip cup once the wax is cool and place a new flip cup in your ceramic dish and place your wax inside the flip cup. You can buy multiple flip cups so you can swap your fragrance whenever you like depending on your mood.
  • Place your wax warmer as close as possible to the centre of the room you want to fragrance.
  • Make sure your warmer is placed on a heat resistant surface away from children and pets. Also ensure any cords are tucked away or do not hang over the surface where it can be pulled off the surface or table.
  • If using a silicone flip cup, you can place it inside the ceramic bowl on top of the heat plate, do not place the silicone flip cup directly onto the heat pad.
  • We recommend starting with ½ of a melt bar piece if using in a small or medium sized room and 1 melt bar piece for a larger room. Remember you can always add extra later, it’s best to start small so you don’t waste unnecessary product.
  • Turn on your electric warmer, it will take up to 20 minutes for the wax to fully melt, as the wax melts the fragrance will start to flow filling your room with fragrance.
  • We recommend using your wax melt warmer for a minimum of 2 hours. After 2 hours our noses start to go into sensory overload or olfactory fatigue (In English our brain gets used to the smell and our brain switches off the ability to recognise the scent.) If you leave the room for 20 minutes and come back in, you will be able to smell it again. Another way to describe it, each home has a natural unique smell you can’t smell it because you are used to the smell, but other people can. Just like when you go to someone else’s house it has a unique natural smell that you can smell but they can’t as they are used to it.
  • We recommend turning your warmer off after a maximum of 4 hours. The scent will still linger for quite a while then wait a few hours then turn it back on again if required. This will make each wax melt last longer.
  • After use turn off your electric warmer and make sure the wax is completely hard before moving, changing fragrance, or touching the warmer as the wax and the warmer will be hot.
  • If you aren’t using a silicone flip cup then to change out the wax to a different fragrance turn your warmer on for about 2 minutes then the wax should simply slip out of the dish with a little push. Give the dish a wipe out with a paper towel or some hot soapy water. Make sure your dry the ceramic dish before using again.
  • When your wax melt is completely finished, and the fragrances has fully burned off please wait for the wax to cool then dispose of it in the bin. Do not tip wax down the drain of your sink as this can cause plumbing issues and cause blockages. If using one of our silicone flip cups, then simply wait for the wax to harden then flip the wax out directly into the bin. If you are using the ceramic bowl, then turn your warmer on for about 2 minutes then the wax should simply slip out of the dish with a little push directly into the bin. Wipe your ceramic bowl with hot soapy water and dry well prior to using it again.

ELECTRIC WARMER COMPATIBILITY

For the best performance we recommend an electric warmer. As soy wax is harder than paraffin it requires a hotter heat plate to melt it correctly.

We do not recommend using our soy wax melts in wax warmers with a light bulb or candle as they do not heat up enough to melt pure soy wax correctly. While they will still work, it won’t push the fragrance far enough and would only be suitable for a small or medium sized room.

SAFETY INFORMATION

WAX MELT SAFETY:

Due to the high amount of fragrance in this product it should not be used with a direct flame and must only be used in a traditional oil burner or electric melt warmer. If the fragrance becomes too strong for you simply turn off the Melter and ventilate the room. Always follow the safety instructions that came with your product to ensure safe, proper use.

COLOUR CHANGE:

We do not put colour in our soy wax melts, by adding colour this can change the way the wax performs and may not fully release the fragrance. Due to the high amount of fragrance the soy wax may change colour, this is normal and in no way changes the performance of this product. So, if your wax does change colour please don't be alarmed.

HIGH FRAGRANCE LOAD:

This product is genuinely triple scented and because of the high amount of fragrance we have put into this product it might crumble when breaking a piece off. It may also look like it's frosting or change colour. This is normal due to the high amount of fragrance and is safe to use. We recommend starting with ½ of 1 bar of our wax melt for a small to medium sized room and 1 bar for large rooms. If the scent is too weak for your room size, you can always add more wax if you need too.

WHY CAN'T I SMELL THE FRAGRANCE ANYMORE?

  1. After about 2 hours our noses start to go into sensory overload or olfactory fatigue (In English our brain gets used to the smell and our brain switches off the ability to recognise the scent.) If you leave the room for 15 minutes and come back in, you will be able to smell it again.
  2. If used for a long period of time the fragrance may have fully burnt off.
  3. The room may be too large for that particular fragrance. As some fragrances can be subtle and some can be strong. Try using in a smaller sized room or move closer to the warmer or place the warmer in the centre of the space you want to fragrance.

FRAGRANCE STRENGTH EXPLAINED

Each fragrance has different strengths, no matter how much fragrance you put in the strength will be the same. When we rate our fragrances we test in 3 small sized rooms for 4 hours at a time, we test in 3 medium sized rooms for 4 hours at a time and we test 4 times in a large sized room for 4 hours at a time, then we come up with our final rating. We use a electric wax warmer for all of our tests. If using a oil warmer with a candle the results might be weaker than advertised or if using one of our fan forced warmers then the results may be stronger than advertised due to the fan pushing the fragrance further.

A SMALL SIZED ROOM

A small sized room in our opinion would be classed as a study or home office, small kitchen, lounge room or bedroom.

A MEDIUM SIZED ROOM

A medium sized room in our opinion would be classed as a lounge dining room in the one zone, an open plan master bedroom suite, a small office area, kitchen, or lounge room.

A LARGE SIZED ROOM

A large sized room in our opinion would be classed as an open plan area like a lounge dining kitchen area all in the one zone. To fragrance an entire home or multiple level home more than one wax warmer may be required try and place your wax warmer as close to the centre of your home as possible.
